INSHA ZEMLYA
ода життю
з люті
не залишитись серед байдужих
an Ode to Life
from Rage
This exhibition gathers images from the streets of Ukraine, taken by Anna Fedoronchuk between 2021 to today. The photographs trace three cities – Akkerman, Odesa and Kyiv. Each image echoes her homeland in transformation, of time slipping through the streets with quiet urgency.
The year Anna joined P.A.R.T.S. was the year russia launched its full-scale invasion. Since then, each return home became an important choice. Urgent but tender. With each visit back – her eyes grew more alert, attuning to what has changed. Since then, street photography became her way to stay in dialogue with what and who surrounds. Spending time on the streets with a camera became a practice of attuning and listening, grounding her back into the presence of home. A practice that became vital, as it was shaped by the desire to witness home alive and to see it honestly.
How else can we attune to the changes in each other? How do we notice what remains unsaid?
This exhibition resists the reduction of Ukraine to a single tragic image. Insisting on a more complex and necessary portrait – of a country alive in struggle, where resistance is a collective, vital need.
Photo prints and posters will also be available for sale. All proceeds will go to fundraising, supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the needs of the civilian population.
