Just fulfilling the instant

“She is hunger for something. She looks hungry. Maybe. But I'm sure she's okay.

She can feel the breathing of this room. She's breathing, too. So much so that no one notices. But this person isn't trying to hide from everyone.

She was absent, but not because she had any other business. She just didn't know how or where to attend. This person still hasn't found a way, but she doesn't seem unhappy. She is okay. Maybe.

A dead fly fell out. It landed on her clothes. Time seemed to stop, but in an instant she swatted the fly away.

That’s it. She seems fine.

Is it possible for this person to spend their time like this all the way? Is it allowed? Who is to judge? Where do they exist? Is she really visible for them? Is she isolated? Is she conceited? She doesn't even hate anyone. Maybe.”

Inspired by the Japanese word "hikikomori," this work visualizes a body that is physically separated from society.

I create spaces, like parallel worlds, focusing on the blurred boundaries between people, the passage of time, and the definition of solitude in today's complex digitalized society.
