LULLABY FOR THE WIRED

“A backflip is a backward somersault performed in freestyle motocross. This trick has also become increasingly common in BMX. It was first landed by Caleb Wyatt and later performed in competition by Mike Metzger.

Many riders practice this maneuver, often combining it with other moves such as no-handers, no-footers, supermans, 360s, tailwhips, or cancans to increase difficulty.

Even double backflips are performed now. Unfortunately, not in this performance.”
