Fairy Forest

*content warning: sexual connotations, flashes, loud bass

Their imagination can mess you up.

Their lack of imagination can also mess you up.

It's magical.

In this perfect forest, far east,

The evergreen, full of fairies.

Swarming in loneliness.

They always find a way to project their sparkling libido on strangers.

These silicone fairies.

They seldom embrace your malfunctions,

especially if you’re wearing a skirt.

They seldom embrace your malfunctions,

especially if you’re wearing a necktie.

Please don’t wait for the climax.

Everyday is a climax, be grateful.

This work Fairy Forest consists of moments of aggression, care, entrapment, and some subtle attempts to escape them. While we are all inevitably labeled in this world, someone in that forest decided to call oneself a fairy. To escape from blame. To hide from guilt.

With a pinch of fantasy in the soup of reality, this work looks into the power dynamics of domestic relationships that are ambivalent and perpetuated. It portrays the internalized violence of domination and submission through a cluttered dialogue that loops in dullness.

So, for tonight, do you want dinner? bath? or me?
