Polymerous

This work arises from a shared act of listening. It began with our attention turning toward Barbara Strozzi and the textures of her music. We invite you into a soundscape where the fragilities of sound are moving and are moved by us. Where listening drifts close to the skin and a quiet undercurrent hums just beneath. The aria Che Si Può Fare passes through our present-day bodies — bodies shaped by strain, gendered labor, migration, and the slow weight of exhaustion. We offer this space to listen together. To linger with an image. To remain with gestures of passing, of touch, of holding, to stay near the matter of the space, the material of each other.
