Pós

Description: Pos is a performance-based work that begins with a simple yet significant gesture: the artist steps barefoot onto a large sheet of white paper covered in decomposed coal. Each movement leaves a trace-impressions of the body mapped in black residue, moments of contact marked in dust and pressure. This act inscribes the surface with presence, memory, and resistance, transforming the blank page into a living archive.

Pos lingers - an unfinished word, a breath held at the edge of possibility. It speaks in fragments, much like memory, much like futures that haven't yet arrived. In its incompleteness, it opens space: not for what is, but for what could be. After the act, the paper is rearranged. Fragments are reassembled, forming new topographies, alternative constellations, other possible realities for black history. What was once a single surface becomes a multiplicity of imagined realities.
