PTA
Description: This work explores the tension between language, identity, and emotion, challenging dominant systems of meaning through coded and fragmented forms. Starting from the idea that black people are often denied the capacity to love, the piece reclaims language as a space of tenderness, complexity, and resistance. By disrupting legibility - through numbering, abstraction, and intentional opacity - it asks viewers to slow down, to work for understanding, and to reflect on how systems of communication have been shaped by power.
