Tracing The Footsteps Of My Father is something that l was always curious about in terms of how my father began dancing. In that trace where he got the inspiration to become a dancer.

So the idea of the piece it is to trace the footsteps of my father because he is coming from the past going to the present. I am somehow going from the present to the past.

When l was growing up my father and l had an interesting dynamic with each other. But at some point it was difficult for me to take some decisions, because you know as a son l was trying to find my own voice in my teenage period but somehow my father was imposing his voice onto me and his voice consist more of my roots, which l started falling  in love with because as I grew up with my father, l adored him as my role model. Therefore, I would call this piece as a semi autobiography of my father.
